The Sustainable Tech Roundtable, organised by the Swiss Business Hub Southern & Eastern Africa in cooperation with the Embassy of Switzerland in Mozambique, serves as a platform for dialogue and exchange between Mozambican and Swiss stakeholders in the mining and energy sectors.

Held on the sidelines of MMEC 2026, the event brings together key industry players, public-sector representatives, and Swiss companies to discuss sustainable solutions and showcase Swiss value propositions for the development of Mozambique’s mining and energy industries.

The Roundtable highlights practical approaches in areas such as sustainable technologies, ESG standards, clean energy integration, gas infrastructure, logistics and responsible sourcing across the value chain, as well as local value addition. It also aims to foster partnerships and knowledge exchange, while supporting Mozambique’s role in regional trade integration and its positioning as an emerging energy hub.
